Oh Dear, Doe Deere!

A new place continuing the work of Doe Deere Lies. This blog contains verifiable information on Lime Crime and its' owner Xenia Vorotova, aka Doe Deere. Everyone is welcomed here, please be respectful and allow for differing opinions. This blog is not a hate blog. I simply want people to have as much as possible information available to them so they can make an informed choice as a customer or supporter of Lime Crime.

- please note, this is NOT run by the same person who ran Doe Deere Lies.

Hi guys

Thank you all for the lovely emails and messages, long story very short is my meds have changed yet again and they literally knocked me out for around 15 hours a day. I’m playing catch up on pretty much EVERYTHING in life right now that I’m regaining conciousness :) I’ve emailed a few people back with regards to helping out here, and in the meantime encourage you to use the forums (linked at the side) to keep in touch with everyone. I’ve posted some submissions that were languishing in my inbox, and will respond to a few asks as and when I can. Thanks for your continuing patience!

- Nicola

Hey i just wanted to say thankyou for this blog. Before i found this blog i had discovered Doe Deere (what a great name) On instagram and followed her on that and twitter, I was considering buying some lipsticks but yesterday i was researching Lime Crime lipsticks with the intention of buying one when i came across this blog, I clicked on it out of curiosity and read it and was shocked by the scandalous things this woman and her company have done. I am so grateful i stumbled across this blog if i didnt i probably would have bought from and supported Lime Crime! Thankyou so much for spreading awarness, i hate companies that do corrupt evil things and continue to get support for it, we need more people like you in the world spreading awarness about companies that do the wrong things. I blog against a company myself Nestle http://wecanstopnestle.blogspot.com.au/ Check it out if you want :)

Is it just me or does Red Velvet look patchy in this picture?

Anyone looking for a Velvetine dupe, Bourgeois have a line of velvet matte lip products out. Exactly the same as a Velvetine - applied with the little wand, etc. There's a bright pink which is a perfect dupe for Pink Velvet, along with various reds from bright to dark. They're excellent, stay on for hours even when eating! I love them!

Hey! wasn't going to buy wicked anyway because I heard how drying it is, but I'm thankful to find this blog and know the truth about LC. I'm looking for a velvety liquid lipstick in a burgundy shade, and can't find one! Do you have any suggestions?

I had a similar situation with Pretty Zombie, I did eventually get my products but took over a month. Also StarCrushedMinerals are totally blacklisted in my opinion, its been 44days now, they didn’t respond to emails and anything I put on social media asking where my order was they deleted. She eventually responded to me and was very abrupt and said I can always send my parcel back once I received it, but that was the problem in the first place, I haven’t had my order!? She’s also suing a friend for swatching other brands and now swearing legion to her solely. Sounds like another Doe.

Apologies if you’ve already posted about it before but ‘Fandango Purple’ in the Matte Me liquid lipsticks by Sleek (from Superdrug in the UK) is £4.99 and looks like a great dupe of Utopia.

Okay so limecrime’s IG just posted a “demo” video of MUA Missjazminad applying their Wicked velvetine product, I went on to her IG cause I thought this was fishy, as she has never posted anything about using their products, and this video which is clearly an instagram video (based on the quality and filters) is no where to be found on her IG account that LimeCrime linked/tagged in the description. Also the woman in the video has no medusa piercing or scar/hole where the piercing would be if she got rid of it or took it out, in all of Missjazminad’s photos she’s wearing her piercing as well. I checked to see if maybe she removed this video from her IG before she got her piercing, but pictures of her with said piercing can be dated back to 15th december 2013, when the Wicked velvetine wasn’t even released until 2014.

Something just doesn’t add up..

The woman in the video is obviously not her, and if the woman in the video had had the make up applied for her by someone else that could explain it, but she’s clearly applying it herself.

Looks like her current IG photos show her actual regrowth for once! Not really sure what point I’m making, I just thought it was refreshing to see her real hair for a change.
